Our Core Values: A Note From Trevor & Stan

Trevor and Stan here. It’s been 18 months since our merger and what a terrific ride it has been. We’ve just moved into our new office too, which has been exciting.

We’re so proud of our excellent team and know we couldn’t do this without them. Though we’re growing and evolving, at the core we know the importance of teamwork. Everyone is rowing in the same direction and takes great care to protect our clients’ best interests. We’re the team that Colorado owners and entrepreneurs trust when it comes to guiding their business in the right direction, and we don’t take that lightly.

The merger was much more than a business decision. It was about meeting the needs of our growing clientele. Plus, the combination of our two firms has allowed us to serve the community even better than before. We still have much to do and continue to set goals for ourselves and our team. Doida Crow Legal was founded with the purpose of providing legal services in a way that is unique from the way law firms have operated for the past 50+ years. We are accomplishing that goal. The reason we are successful in our execution is due to the core values that are instilled in our company and our team. They are the foundation of our organization and are embedded in our work, our interactions with clients, and how we fulfill our mission to serve entrepreneurs by solving their complex business problems.

We strive for excellence in our services and work product. We want to be outstanding. We need to be detail-oriented and meticulous in our work. We will have high standards, be organized, stay on top of deadlines, and keep our promises to clients.

We must stay humble in our demonstration of these values. To be clear, excellence shouldn’t be confused with perfection. While we strive for perfection, we acknowledge there is always more to learn and ways to improve.


Problem Solvers

Clients come to us to solve problems. That’s what we’re here to do. We’ll always do our best to help our clients – and our team – in whatever way we can. Our creed: Help first. In providing our solutions, we need to keep the client’s goals in mind. But, we also need to provide practicality. Our solutions need to be tailored for the “real world.” Risk isn’t totally avoidable, but it is manageable.



Today’s client expects things quickly. Everything has become urgent and time kills deals. These shortened timelines require the need for efficiency; however, it also threatens the quality. To keep our value of Humbly Excellent we must remain deliberate in our actions.We’ll be quick but won’t hurry. We’ll think things through, ask insightful questions, and stay committed to doing things the right way. But, at the same time, we won’t belabor or delay – especially when dealing with an important matter.We’ll “measure twice and cut once” and adhere to our proven processes.



The attorney-client relationship is a sacred one. The client is above all else and we should always treat them with care and respect. Our solutions should be tailored and customized to their specific needs. We’ll offer guidance and go to great lengths to deliver value while keeping their best interests at heart.


Synergistic Teammates

We work as a team here. We are all rowing in the same direction and must work together in order to grow together. We all contribute to the culture of this company. There is no deadweight allowed. We help carry the team’s load and believe “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
