On February 11, 2019, Stan Doida, is slated to speak at CU Law School and address the students in the Juvenile and Family Law Clinic class. The class takes a deep look at building law practices with a social justice mission along the lines of the new incubator programs that are launching across the US that are geared to addressing unmet civil legal needs.
Stan will give an overview of his expertise in M&A law and business practices, and how he has successfully built his law practice. He’ll also discuss how to build a practice and start a business plan, how to assess rates, understand changing legal services delivery methods, the importance of mission-driven work, mistakes and lessons learned, and more.
He will join Bruce Wiener, of Bridge to Justice, who will focus on building a practice that addresses a social justice mission.
